The Monerica GitHub account has been in a weird state where we can only sign in and people cannot see the code. So what is the best alternative? Self-hosting? Forgejo? GitLab?
Best GitHub alternative for Monero projects?
idk about the "best alternative", always felt like people defending their linux distro or somethin lol
lately for local things, i just using local git repo on disk for file versioning, i not doing advanced thingies anyways so is been less troublesome as running a whole self hosted instance of something
but been happy with self hosting gitea when self hosted that
idk if would be the best or what, maybe some people would be saying this or that is better because this or that, i dont really have an opinion on that tbh lol, like, it worked and that was enough i guess lol
I might still set up a custom domain for hosting the code. Maybe as a backup. It really depends how important being open source is for all the Monerica sites.
Monerica's code is now self-hosted using Forgejo: https://code.monerica.com/
