Trading Diary

OK so this is my trading diary all about what trades I'm doing.

Feel free to debate but don't come at me with that 'inversion narrative' like you want to sell some trading course. And don't put John Mcfee videos either. Cheers.

So what's the strategy?

  • Sometimes don't trade.
  • Sometimes short monero.
  • Sometimes long bitcoin.

How?

  • Hyperliquid perps

Why?

  • The thing is about monero is that its markets are often driven by the demand for private transactions. There are two sides to every transaction so in this case, market moving entries are often directly followed by market moving exits. Its likely that we can find some 'pump and dump' patterns. The method is simply to wait until the markets are especially volatile, and sell the pumps on the way up. Just put some limit orders and try not to get liquidated. I'm not trying to say that monero isn't a good investment in the long term, or that it isn't sound money; I'm saying that its markets are inseparable from its use case.
  • The thing is about bitcoin is that it pumps all the time. You don't even need to time them, just use limit orders to benefit from the consistent volatility. Try not to get liquidated.
  • Obviously this thing is high risk and I might feasibly lose everything I put in.
  • So both these coins offer consistent volatility and organic markets. I wouldn't trade memecoins or less reputable coins because the markets can be rugged... in either direction! Funding fees can be artificially manipulated.

Tricks?

  • Don't pay attention to 'educators'.
  • Use patience not stop orders.
  • Don't rely on timing.
  • To avoid revealing too much information I will only show lines on charts, average entry prices, and exit.

Trading Monero is very choppy which encourages leverage that leads to liquidations. But sometimes it can pump or dump 10%.

somehow making your own "method" was best way to start tbh i been trying something with monero since the price around 90-120 and now i understand

the simple ways to explain it was

  1. grab alot when cheap
  2. wait
  3. dump it
  4. note the "new normal"
  5. grab again when price dump appear

then after you run 2-3x i really sure you can guess what next price was xD

somehow after last 480$ now i not even shocked seeing last 500$ and then go down again lol

and the another things we need to take note of it was "time" people sometimes forget we doing "small trading" so they forget that we also need "good timing" or atleast let it "mature"

@UsualCat

Good luck!

The trick is to avoid timing and instead rely on a good chance. That's my approach anyway. If it goes bad just let it 'mature' and then you've had more chance. Like just buy the dip and if it dips again buy the dip again.

My normie no-coiner dad just told me about John MacAfee appearing on his phone to tell him that xmr > btc. This is bearish.
