When the Monero price goes up, does that imply a hack?

It seems pretty often that when the price of Monero goes up, that there is a theft, hack or some other incident. Today Monero's price is up 3%, in the last 24-hours I mean.

When there is a hack, it seems that the hacker tried to swap into Monero to cover their tracks. This is unfortunate but a reality. It is often going to happen too quickly for there to be any way to know which funds these were.

The rise in Monero's price at different times in the last 2 months could very well be tied to the Coldcard hack. And what is happening today could be related to the BTCPay Server hack.

coldcard is more recent than 2 months, like 9 days https://coldcardwatch.com so could be related would think still as its still kind of an ongoing thing of where those funds could be going i guess

and btcpay even more recent yea so could also be related

but imo that's also why the monero ecosystem still need to grow
cause right now it seems after funds like these get transfered into monero then the dump follows shortly after
instead of like, staying in monero and being in the circular economy, most ends up actually getting cashed out or moved back to btc / tether or something like that eventually

it's on the right path tho, as it's been clear from trends on merchants adoptions and so on that monero fits the role better than bitcoin regarding being used as actual currency

but also, the trend of monero pumping when things like that happen is just giga bullish on the long run since these happen quite frequently lately
which is also why would consider monero a better store of value than bitcoin too, 10x, 100x or whatever doesnt seem too farfetched at this point tbh, while bitcoin already have the big blackrock funding and things like that and has lost momentum, monero still have lots of growth ahead from many different angles

If we want price pumps, it's gotta be listed on CEXs. That's the truth. I'm fine with the slow growth and Monero has the best chart in crypto imo. just look at how the lows grow.
